Nomadland I hated it, and couldnt get through it.. a prime example of why people dont watch oscars.. a disconnect between the academy and real life. @TheAcademy
@TheAcademy Nomadland has great directing. Chloé Zhao became the second woman in history to win the latter after Kathryn Bigelow in 2010, and the first woman of color to win the category. Chloé Zhao became the second woman and the first East Asian woman to do so.
