THE GOOD GERMAN

During the post-war period in Berlin to report on the Potsdam Conference, an American military journalist is involved in a murder investigation involving his former lover and driver. An American journalist arrives in Berlin shortly after the end of World War II. He is embroiled in a crime story surrounding a dead GI who was washing in a mansion by the lake during the Potsdam negotiations between the allied powers. Soon his investigation is linked to his search for his pre-war married German lover.
